About Candace
Candace Watson joined the firm, then Fordham & Brightling Lawyers, in 2022 after articling with a boutique family law firm in London, Ontario. In 2024 she and colleague Michael Brightling formed Brightling & Watson Lawyers. She holds a BA from the University of Guelph, where she double-majored in Political Science and Criminal Justice and Public Policy, and a JD from Western University. She grew up in St. Thomas and volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and the Elgin-Oxford Legal Clinic during law school. Her practice focuses largely on real estate and estate planning.
