About Michael

Michael J.E. Brightling joined the firm, then known as Fordham and Brightling Lawyers, in 2012, after working as an associate at a large full-service firm in London and earlier practising in his hometown of Listowel, Ontario. He holds a BA from the University of Western Ontario and a JD, magna cum laude, from Michigan State University, and is admitted to practise in both Ontario and New York. His practice covers corporate and business law, real estate, and estate planning and administration. He is a Past President of the Elgin Theatre Guild and Past Master of St. David's Lodge #302.
