About Bruce

Bruce Lemer is a Vancouver litigator known for his work in personal injury, motor vehicle, and consumer and products liability class actions. He has represented plaintiffs in catastrophic motor vehicle injury claims, medical malpractice claims, and products liability claims against governments, blood products manufacturers, and the Canadian Red Cross for infections with HIV and hepatitis C through blood transfusions. He was plaintiffs' co-counsel in Endean v. Canadian Red Cross, a hepatitis C class action that produced the largest products liability class action settlement in Canadian history at the time, and was also Canadian counsel in a related U.S. action profiled by CNN. Lemer has appeared in the British Columbia Supreme Court and Court of Appeal, courts in Alberta and Ontario, and the Supreme Court of Canada, and has brought consumer class actions involving deceptive trade practices, privacy breaches, and breach of contract.
