About Brian

Brian is the firm's managing lawyer and has practised law in Nova Scotia for more than 40 years, working in criminal law, family law, corporate and commercial law, wills and estates, and property law. Before his legal career he served 22 years with the Canadian Armed Forces, commanding two service battalions and serving as Halifax Garrison Commander before retiring at the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. He is a graduate of Saint Mary's University (B.Sc. Honours, Mathematics, cum laude) and Dalhousie University (LLB), and holds the Canada Decoration.
