Brian Edward Tadayoshi Tsuji is the founder and principal of Tsuji Law Group, a Canadian immigration lawyer with 40 years of experience, including more than a decade leading the Canadian immigration practice at the global firm DLA Piper (Canada) LLP (formerly Davis LLP). He handles work visas and business visitor visas, provincial nominee program applications, permanent resident status applications, business immigration matters for individuals and organizations, Labour Market Impact Assessment applications, and appeals to immigration tribunals and the Federal Court. He has represented clients from more than 50 countries and has worked in Tokyo, Toronto, and Vancouver. He led a global project examining work visa requirements across 33 jurisdictions and won a Federal Court case, Millenium Pacific Greenhouse Partnership v. Minister of Employment and Social Development Canada (2022 FC 960), that allowed an employer to continue hiring foreign workers. He has appeared as an expert witness on Canadian immigration law in U.S. court proceedings, is a past National Executive Member of the Canadian Bar Association's Immigration Section and a past Chairman of its BC Immigration Section, and is a director of the Nikkei Place Foundation, the Japanese Canadian Legacies Society, and the Nikkei Seniors Healthcare and Housing Society.
