About Brent

Brent H. Silver grew up in North Brookfield, Queens County, Nova Scotia. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology with a Certificate in Criminology from Saint Mary's University in 1989, then graduated from Dalhousie Law School in 1992. He began his legal career in Newfoundland and has practiced in Bridgewater since 1994, focusing on real estate, land title migrations, estate planning, probate, and civil litigation. Brent H. Silver has served as a Small Claims Court Adjudicator since 2004 and has been Vice Chair and Chair of the Nova Scotia Primary Forest Products Marketing Board. He has also been a Director and Chair of the Research and Science Committee for the LaHave River Salmon Association and has coached minor hockey, club basketball, and high school basketball.
