About Brenda
Brenda McKnight has applied nearly three decades of legal experience to family law disputes since joining Haber in 2001, helping clients through difficult issues involving child custody, child and spousal support, division of family property, estate planning, income tax questions and common-law marriage disputes. She favors collaborative approaches that lead to settlements acceptable to all sides, but is also known for skillful courtroom advocacy when litigation becomes necessary. She received a Bachelor of Law from the University of Western Ontario in 1990 and was called to the bar in 1992. Before joining Haber, she practiced as a sole practitioner, giving her additional experience in wills and estates, real estate and corporate law.
