Ben Dawkins joined Maisonneuve Dawkins in September 2011 and focuses his practice on criminal defence, representing clients on charges ranging from mischief to murder as well as drug-related offences. He appears regularly before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice, serving communities including Hearst, Kapuskasing, Smooth Rock Falls, Cochrane, Iroquois Falls, Timmins, and the coastal communities of Kashechewan, Attawapiskat, Moosonee, and Fort Albany. He assists clients at every stage of a criminal matter, from initial police contact through bail hearings, trial, and appeal. Ben earned a B.A. (Hons.) with Distinction from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario, articling at the Toronto firm Fraser Milner Casgrain before joining Maisonneuve Dawkins. He's a member of the Criminal Lawyers' Association and sits on the Board of Directors of the Timmins Rock Junior 'A' Hockey Club.
