About Barry
Barry was born and raised in Calgary, where he earned his law degree from the University of Calgary in 1985. He practised in Calgary for several years before being called to the B.C. Bar in 1993, then spent 15 years with the law firm of Bassett and Company before founding Porrelli Law, with offices in West Kelowna and Kelowna. Over more than 40 years of practice he estimates he has overseen more than 50,000 real estate transactions. He is particularly focused on First Nation land development and conveyancing, and has been involved in projects on the Westbank First Nation reserve and several other reserves across British Columbia, including manufactured home parks, condo and commercial developments, and large residential subdivisions.
