About Aya

Aya Barbach is a partner in the firm's data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity group, practising in personal information protection, cybersecurity, access to information, and online advertising and marketing. She advises private-sector and public organizations on data breach management, privacy policies, and consent procedures, and represents employers on digital and privacy issues in the workplace, including grievances involving personal information. She also acts for clients on access-to-information requests before Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information and regularly makes submissions to regulators such as the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
