About Avery

Avery Layh founded Layh Law Company in Langenburg, continuing a family legal tradition begun by her father, the Honourable Donald Layh, in 1994. Her practice focuses on debtor-creditor law, including agricultural, residential, and commercial enforcement and foreclosure proceedings for lenders, credit unions, and leasing companies. She also handles real estate, farm financing, and estate planning matters, and has argued cases at all levels of court in Saskatchewan. Avery completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Saskatchewan in 2011, after returning to Langenburg to article under her father, and holds a Bachelor of Arts with High Honours in Fine Arts and History, also from the University of Saskatchewan (2004). She is a member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan, the Law Society of Manitoba, and the Canadian Bar Association.
