About Anthony
Anthony Vretenar is a criminal lawyer at Chadi & Ibrahim LLP, born and raised in Edmonton. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce, with distinction, from the University of Alberta in 2003 before obtaining his law degree from the same university's faculty of law, and has spent his entire legal career at the firm since articling there. Since being called to the bar in 2008 he has defended clients in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan on a wide range of charges including drug offences, impaired and dangerous driving, violent offences, firearms offences and sexual offences, with particular expertise in bail and Charter rights.
