About Angus

Angus Cheung practices corporate, criminal, and family law at Axon Law in Edmonton. He worked with Student Legal Services of Edmonton throughout law school, eventually serving as its Executive Coordinator and a member of its Board of Directors, and articled under Laurie I. Wood at Wood Law Office. Since being called to the bar, Cheung has served as general counsel to a number of corporations, handling contracts, commercial transactions, and mergers and acquisitions, and he has also worked on tax matters before the Tax Court of Canada and First Nations issues before the Federal Court of Appeal. He earned a BSc in Natural Resource Conservation from the University of British Columbia and his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2015, and he is fluent in Cantonese with limited proficiency in Mandarin.
