About Andree
Andree D. Taylor advises hospitals, health organizations and health professionals on managing clinical and corporate risk and defending complex medical-legal matters. For 15 years she has concentrated on health law issues affecting hospitals and health professionals, including hospital privileges and complaints, health privacy and data protection, governance, medical negligence, and professional regulation. Before joining Osler, Andree was a partner at a national firm, where she defended physicians and acted as general counsel to a national physician defence organization on significant health law matters across Canada. She has appeared as litigation counsel at trial and appellate levels and before hospital boards, medical advisory committees, the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board, and various professional regulatory committees. Andree is an executive member of the Canadian Bar Association's National Health Law Section and lectures in Osgoode Hall's LL.M. program on information technology and privacy in health law.
