Allan Bayda is the founder of Bayda Disability Law, a Calgary firm representing clients in Alberta and Saskatchewan who have been denied or had their long-term disability insurance benefits terminated. For more than 25 years he has appealed disability insurance denials against major insurers including Manulife, Great-West Life, Canada Life, Sun Life, Industrial Alliance, RBC Insurance, Desjardins, Empire Life, and SSQ, drawing on experience with subjective conditions such as chronic pain and somatoform disorders as well as objective injuries.
