About Alistair
Alistair Lax joined Penner Law in Terrace in August 2018 and was called to the bar the following year. His early practice covered a broad range of matters, including criminal and family law, wills and estates, employment issues, and civil litigation. He now concentrates on civil law, with particular emphasis on family law, real estate transactions, and general litigation, advising clients on separations, property deals, severance packages, and disputes with neighbours or business partners. He works to resolve matters outside of court where possible but regularly appears before BC's Provincial and Supreme Courts. Before practising law, he held a range of jobs, including heavy equipment operator and computer sales, after growing up in several BC communities including Victoria, Kelowna, Prince George, and Kamloops.
