About Ali

Ali Mesbahian advocates for workers' rights in labour, employment, and human rights law, and regularly appears before labour arbitrators. Before joining CaleyWray, he articled and summered at a union and employee-side law firm, and worked as a caseworker in the Workers' Rights division of Parkdale Community Legal Services. At Osgoode Hall Law School he competed on the Tort Law Moot team and represented Osgoode at the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, and in 2021 he worked with the Canadian Civil Liberties Association on the civil liberties implications of social media regulation.
