Alexandre Lafreniere

About Alexandre

Alexandre Lafreniere is a founding partner of ALX Legal and leads its corporate and commercial teams. He earned his LL.L. in the Civil Law Section and his J.D. in the Common Law Section at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law, graduating in 2010 and 2011, and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2012. During his studies he worked for law practices in Ottawa-Gatineau and completed a summer internship at Farm Credit Canada, which introduced him to agricultural law. His practice focuses on corporate and business law, along with commercial real estate and estate planning, covering incorporations, financings, tax reorganizations, acquisitions, and succession planning for companies across eastern Ontario, particularly in the agricultural and construction industries. He is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the County of Carleton Law Association, l'Association des juristes d'expression française de l'Ontario, and the Prescott and Russell Law Association.
