About Alex

Alex Whitehead is a civil litigation associate whose practice spans commercial and civil litigation matters, including shareholder and partnership disputes, fraud and conspiracy claims, franchising, property and real estate disputes, bankruptcy and insolvency, and professional negligence defence. She takes a pragmatic approach, working to understand each client's business before recommending a tailored strategy. Alex graduated from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law, in 2018 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2019. Before joining Sampogna Law Firm, she articled and practiced at boutique litigation firms in Toronto, representing individuals, closely-held companies, and financial institutions. She has argued before every level of court in Ontario, including the Toronto Commercial List and the Ontario Court of Appeal, as well as various administrative tribunals. Alex holds a B.A. in Political Science from McGill University and belongs to the Ontario Bar Association and the Advocates' Society.
