Wills, Estates & TrustsAlbert Robinson, known as Bert, graduated from the University of Alberta Law School in 1979 after studying philosophy and liberal arts at College St. Jean and earning an honours degree in economics from the University of Alberta in 1976. He articled with Douglas C. Weetman in Stony Plain in 1979, then joined Peterson Ross in Spruce Grove and Edmonton, where he practiced civil litigation. In 1981 he formed a partnership with Randal C. Heil in Spruce Grove, expanding his practice to corporate, real estate, mortgages, and wills and estates. In 1990 he started Robinson & Co. in Spruce Grove, which continues today as Robinson Brenneis LLP. He has assisted many farmers with legal issues affecting them and has advised families, businesses, and charitable organizations, often on a pro bono basis.
