Indigenous LawCarli Ryan-Jean earned her law degree at the University of Alberta and was called to the bar in the summer of 2020 after articling with the firm. She focuses on criminal law, particularly as it affects Canada's Indigenous peoples, an interest shaped by her academic work on criminal law, evidence and outcomes for Aboriginal offenders. Ryan-Jean has volunteered with the Elizabeth Fry Society, Student Legal Services and Pro Bono Students Canada, and handles both indictable and summary conviction matters. She conducts her practice in both English and French.
