About Alan

Alan Ovadia is the founding lawyer of Ovadia Légal Inc. in Montreal. He practices business and corporate law, wills and estate law including successions and mandates, trademark and intellectual property law, and administrative law, and has also handled matters in animal law, including defending dog owners against municipalities. He has made representations before the Quebec Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Canada, the Superior Court of Quebec, the Court of Quebec, and various administrative tribunals. He has served as an independent supervising attorney in Anton Piller injunction matters and has assisted the RCMP and the Canada Border Services Agency, including training officers to identify counterfeit merchandise. He has been a registered Canadian trademark agent since 2011 and a member of the Quebec Bar since 2008. He holds a Bachelor of Common Law and a Bachelor of Civil Law from the University of Ottawa's National Program and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University.
