About Adolfo

Adolfo Morais is a founding partner of Boghossian Morais LLP and a founding member of the Canadian Immigration Lawyers Association. Prior to practicing in Canada, he was called to the Brazilian Bar in 2002 and ran his own civil litigation practice covering consumer, banking, and finance law, later serving as in-house counsel for one of Brazil's largest insurance companies. After moving to Canada, he earned a Bachelor of Civil Law from Universite Laval and a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, where he received the Editions Yvon Blais Prize for the highest standing in a mandatory course. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2013, joined a respected immigration law firm in January 2014, and partnered with Tamar Boghossian to launch the firm in April 2018. Adolfo has appeared before the Immigration and Refugee Board and the Federal Court of Canada on immigration matters, and he is fluent in Brazilian Portuguese, English, and French.
