About Adnan

Adnan Ali is an associate lawyer at Waugh and Co with a solicitor's practice covering real estate, corporate and commercial matters, and estate planning and administration. He earned his J.D. from the University of Windsor's Faculty of Law, where he volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, edited the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues, and worked with the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers, including lobbying members of Parliament on refugee immigration issues. He also spent a summer researching the pandemic's effects on Canada's bail system. Before law school he earned an Honours B.A. in Criminology with Distinction from Ryerson University, making the Dean's List. He speaks Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi, and joined Waugh & Co. in 2023 after articling at the Regional Municipality of Halton, where he worked on transactional and litigation matters.
