About Abdul

Abdul W.M. Souraya is the managing director and chief executive officer of Phoenix Legal, an immigration law firm in Calgary. He has practiced law since 1991, beginning his career in Ontario before returning to Alberta, and focuses on immigration matters including permanent residency, citizenship, temporary residence and appeals, as well as business and criminal law. He holds a law degree from McGill University's Faculty of Law and an honours degree in Political Science from the University of Calgary. He is a member in good standing of the Law Society of Alberta and the Law Society of Upper Canada in Ontario. He has appeared before Canada's Parliamentary Standing Committee on Immigration and regularly attends the Canadian Bar Association's National Conference on Citizenship and Immigration. He offers services in English, French, and Arabic.
