About Pappas Law

Pappas Law is a litigation focused firm based in Vaughan, Ontario, founded by George Pappas in 2010. The firm practices personal injury law, family law, and general litigation, serving Vaughan, Toronto, and the Greater Toronto Area, with a client base that reaches across Ontario. George Pappas holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from York University and completed a dual law degree through the University of Ottawa and Michigan State University College of Law before being called to the Ontario bar in 2006. Since then, George Pappas has appeared before the Court of Appeal, the Divisional Court, and the Superior Court of Justice, along with tribunals including the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Canada Pension Review Tribunal and Appeals Board, and the Criminal Injury Compensation Board.

Associate Anuran (Andrew) Sivakumaren completed articles at Pappas Law and was called to the Ontario bar in 2020, after earning a law degree with first class honours from Bond University in Australia. Andrew Sivakumaren's practice covers civil litigation with a focus on personal injury and family law, including motions, examinations for discovery, and mediations before the Superior Court of Justice and the License Appeal Tribunal. George Pappas speaks fluent Greek and Andrew Sivakumaren speaks fluent Tamil, connections that carry into the firm's ties with the Greek and Tamil communities in the GTA.
