About NP Criminal Defence

NP Criminal Defence is a sole practitioner criminal law practice run by Norman Panzica, with an office in Concord, in the city of Vaughan. Panzica has practised criminal and quasi criminal law since 1993, amounting to more than 30 years of courtroom experience. Panzica holds B.A. and LL.B. credentials and attended the University of Ottawa from 1986 to 1989, and has worked on both sides of a criminal case, as a Crown prosecutor and as defence counsel, a combination that means weighing a file from both angles before deciding how to proceed.

The firm defends people and corporations charged with Criminal Code, drug, and regulatory offences. That covers everything from bail hearings, assault, and impaired driving to theft, fraud, weapons charges, and more serious matters like murder and manslaughter. Panzica also takes on youth criminal matters and Gladue submissions, along with some personal injury claims alongside the criminal work. Panzica's docket regularly runs through the Newmarket, Bradford, and Barrie courthouses as well as Toronto area courts, and further afield in Ontario when a case calls for it. Panzica speaks English and Italian.
