Jen Chen Law is a Richmond Hill law firm on Leslie Street near Highway 7, founded and run by Xiao Shi (Jen) Chen after nearly a decade as a co-founder and partner at JDC Law LLP. JDC Law LLP formally dissolved on June 30, 2026, and Jen Chen Law began operating on July 2, 2026 as one of two successor firms, the other being CH Law. Chen earned a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School and a B.A. Honours in Psychology from Queen's University, and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association's Real Estate and Leasing Section, and the Toronto Lawyers Association.

Before co-founding JDC Law, Chen worked at a downtown Toronto commercial real estate practice ranked among Canada's top 5 in that field, then at one of Toronto's busiest residential real estate firms. That background carries into a practice that's built around real estate transactions and commercial leasing, along with corporate and commercial law, wills, trusts and powers of attorney, and notarization and commissioning of documents. The firm's founder was born into the Bai ethnic minority in China, a heritage described on the firm's site as a source of pride, and the site is also offered in Mandarin Chinese for clients who prefer it.
