Dennis Reeve, the firm's founder, earned a B.Sc. from the University of Western Ontario in 1974 and an LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 1977 before being called to the Ontario bar in 1979. Dennis Reeve articled under Clive Bynoe and later served as a Crown prosecutor, a background the firm says shapes how it evaluates a case from the prosecution's side. David Reeve, the firm's other lawyer, studied political science at Wilfrid Laurier University, then earned a First Class LLB at the University of Sussex in Brighton, England, before articling at Camden Lane Law Chambers in Toronto under John Struthers, Maija Martin, and David Butt and being called to the Ontario bar in September 2019. David Reeve has since argued before the Court of Appeal for Ontario. Together, the two lawyers describe more than 60 years of combined criminal law experience.
