Founder Gus Triantafillopoulos spent years working as a lawyer for insurance companies before starting the firm, and now applies that background to building cases against insurers instead. Trianta Law says it never acts for insurers, focusing instead on serious and catastrophic claims: motor vehicle, motorcycle, bicycle and pedestrian collisions, slip and falls, spinal cord and brain injuries, long-term disability, and accident benefits disputes, among others. The firm's other lawyer, Shannon Kelly, earned a Juris Doctor from Florida's Shepard Broad College of Law after an Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto. Kelly was called to the Florida Bar in 2016 and the Ontario Bar in 2018, and worked as an insurance adjuster before law school. Both lawyers have appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, and the Licence Appeal Tribunal, and the firm says it prepares every file as though it's headed to trial from the start.
