Scaddan & Jakob Law Firm is a two-lawyer general practice in Leamington, Ontario, on the north shore of Lake Erie. B. Douglas Scaddan and Walter M. Jakob formed the partnership in 1984, the year Jakob was called to the bar. After being called to the bar, Scaddan practiced with the Windsor firm Cusinato, Gatti before opening an office in Leamington. Both are barristers, solicitors and notaries public, and the firm's office is on Wellington Street in Leamington. The firm serves clients across southwestern Ontario as well as residents of Ohio and Michigan, communities just across Lake Erie from Leamington.

Between them, the partners cover corporate and commercial law, real estate and mortgages, family law, wills, estates and powers of attorney, employment matters, litigation and mediation. Scaddan and Jakob describe more than 55 years of combined experience in corporate and commercial work, and each has practiced matrimonial law for more than 25 years, handling separation agreements and divorce proceedings that involve custody, support and the division of property. Scaddan's own practice runs from real estate and corporate-commercial work through to estates and family law, while Jakob's spans family law, corporate and commercial matters, real estate and mortgages, and wills and estates.
