McIntyre, McMurray is a Kitchener practice with extensive experience in family law and real estate, and its work covers divorce, real estate, and wills and estates. When a marriage breaks down, the firm's approach is collaborative, respectful and dignified, and it pays particular attention to what's best for any children affected.

Steven F. McMurray earned an honours chemistry degree at the University of Waterloo in 1974, then an LL.B. from Queen's in 1977, and was called to the Ontario bar in 1979. McMurray has appeared at every level of court in Ontario and was a charter member of the Waterloo Region Collaborative Family Law Association.

Donald A. McIntyre, the firm's other namesake, was called to the bar in 1975 after graduating from the University of Windsor, and has appeared at every level of court in Ontario and at the Supreme Court of Canada. McIntyre spent 27 years practising family law exclusively before retiring, and brings over 39 years of experience to current work as a family law mediator and arbitrator. McIntyre led the effort to found the Collaborative Family Law Association in Waterloo Region and has completed in-depth collaborative family law training.

McMurray takes pride in explaining to clients exactly what they're paying for and why, and on property files the firm commits to good service with rates that stay competitive. The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
