About Aroso Law

Aroso Law is a solo practice based in Kitchener, Ontario, run as a professional corporation and led by its founder, Busuyi Aroso. The firm works in four areas of law: real estate, wills and estates, family law, and employment law. From an office in the city's Huron Business Park, it takes on clients across Waterloo Region and beyond, including Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Hamilton, and the Greater Toronto Area.

The founder's background runs wider than private practice. Alongside law degrees, an LLB and an LLM, Busuyi Aroso holds an honours Bachelor of Science and a master's degree in safety and health, and has taught Occupational Health and Safety Law at Toronto Metropolitan University, formerly Ryerson University, for more than a decade. That teaching sits close to the firm's employment work. Aroso is a member of the Waterloo Region Law Association and serves as president of a registered charitable organization. The firm describes itself as a community practice, keeps weekday hours, and makes Saturday appointments available on request.

The neighbourhood

The office sits on McIntyre Drive in south Kitchener, in the Huron Business Park at the edge of the Huron Park neighbourhood. Next to it is the Huron Natural Area, one of the city's largest natural spaces, with more than a hundred hectares of protected forest, wetland, and trails. It's a quieter, greener part of Kitchener than the downtown core, and it's car-dependent, though a few bus routes run nearby.

Huron Park is one of the city's younger neighbourhoods, where new subdivisions have filled in quickly around that greenspace. For a firm that does a good deal of residential real estate, a base in a growing district where homes change hands often makes sense. The practice also reaches past Kitchener into Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Hamilton, and the Greater Toronto Area.
