Dietrich Law is a Kitchener firm that works only in personal injury and disability law, and only for the people bringing the claim. It represents clients in motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall injuries, brain and catastrophic injuries, product liability, dog bites, and wrongful death, alongside disability files that include long-term disability, Canada Pension Plan disability, and accident benefit disputes. The firm has served the Kitchener and Waterloo area since 1993, and it's one of the founding members of Injury Lawyers of Ontario. Most files run on a contingency basis, so fees come out of a settlement or judgment rather than up front, and the firm covers a case's ordinary costs.
The practice was built by George Dietrich, who graduated from the University of Windsor Law School in 1989 and has acted for plaintiffs since 1999. The founder also holds a master of laws in air and space law from McGill and has served as a director of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and as chairperson of the Canada Pension Plan Review Tribunal. Four lawyers work out of the downtown Kitchener office, and the firm offers free in-home consultations for clients who can't easily travel. Its stated aim is to support both the medical outcome and the financial recovery of the people it represents.

The central address matters less for walk-in traffic than for reach. Dietrich Law takes files from across the Waterloo, Wellington, Brant, Oxford, and York regions, so a downtown base keeps it within an easy drive of Cambridge, Guelph, Brantford, Woodstock, and the smaller towns in between. And for clients whose injuries make the trip hard, the firm offers consultations in the home rather than the boardroom.
