Z Legal (Z Legal Professional Corporation) is a litigation firm at 1984 Yonge Street in Toronto, with a second office in Peterborough. Founder Martin Zatovkanuk was called to the Ontario Bar in 2009 and worked in insurance defence and personal injury litigation before opening this practice, building a firm where clients deal directly with experienced counsel instead of being passed along a chain of file managers. Before founding Z Legal, Zatovkanuk also served as prosecution counsel for the Ontario College of Teachers and general counsel for the College of Opticians of Ontario, and the firm still takes on professional misconduct matters before Ontario's regulatory colleges today.

The practice covers employment law for both employees and employers, estate litigation, commercial litigation, family law, and professional misconduct defence, along with mediation. Two associates round out the litigation team. Ashley Mann was called to the Ontario bar in 2025 after an LL.B. from the University of Leicester, and Allan Huynh moved up from articling student to associate, handling files from intake through resolution. Z Legal bills by the hour, by flat fee, or on contingency depending on the case, and offers a free initial consultation.
