Weedon Law is a small Toronto law firm with three lawyers. It's based at 124 Merton Street in the city's Davisville Village neighbourhood. Greg Weedon founded the firm in 2017 and is certified as a Specialist by the Law Society of Ontario in both Real Estate and Civil Litigation. The firm's work centers on real estate conveyancing and real estate litigation, along with corporate and business law, corporate litigation, and mortgage enforcement for private lenders.
Much of the litigation practice involves agreements of purchase and sale that fall apart. In December 2025, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice awarded a Weedon Law client $2,385,000 in damages after a buyer failed to close on a lakefront home in Port Credit, a decision the Toronto Star covered in February 2026 as a record residential damages award in Ontario. The firm has also argued a case before the Ontario Court of Appeal and won summary judgment for clients in several other failed transaction and deposit disputes.
Outside individual cases, Greg Weedon has spoken to CBC, CTV and BNN Bloomberg about real estate fraud affecting Ontario homeowners, including Notices of Security Interest placed on titles without an owner's knowledge, and has represented homeowners, including seniors, trying to get those liens removed.
Wheelchair accessibleWeedon Law's office is on Merton Street in Davisville Village, a midtown Toronto neighbourhood a short walk from Davisville subway station on the Yonge line. Davisville Village has a number of condo developments concentrated on Merton and Balliol Streets and along Eglinton Avenue, so the firm's real estate conveyancing and litigation practice sits close to the kind of purchase agreements, closings and title work that shape the streets around it.
