About Warren Morris Mediation

Warren Morris Mediation is a Toronto based dispute resolution practice run by Warren Morris, who has worked as a mediator, arbitrator and adjudicator since 1999. The office is at 51 Playter Blvd in the city's east end. Morris holds a Chartered Mediator (C.Med.) designation, a Master of Laws in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours Economics) from McGill University. Rather than run a traditional litigation practice, the focus is on resolving disputes outside the courtroom, in matters ranging from commercial and workplace conflicts to estate, franchise and property disagreements.

Before moving into ADR work, Morris was legal counsel with Legal Aid Ontario and later with the Catholic Children's Aid Society, working in litigation. The next stop was mediating for the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario. Today, alongside the private mediation and arbitration practice, Morris holds part time public appointments with Ontario's Assessment Review Board, the Environmental Review Tribunal and the Ontario Land Tribunal's Board of Negotiation, and sits on the mediator roster for the International Property Tax Institute and the Farm Debt Mediation Service.
