The Law Studio is a small business law firm in Toronto built around what it calls an evolving law firm model. Rather than working from one conventional office, the firm treats its work locations as creative workspaces it calls studios, and it says its lawyers and paralegals have the flexibility to meet clients there or travel to a client's own office instead. Managing Principal Jonathon D.A. Baker leads the practice. Baker was called to the Ontario bar in 1995 and holds a B.A. (Hons.), a J.D., an MBA, and two LL.M. degrees, one completed magna cum laude. Josie D. Ponzo serves as the firm's Principal, Administration.

The firm's stated practice areas include business and corporate law, civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution, employment and labour law, intellectual property and technology law, landlord and tenant matters, and bankruptcy and insolvency. The firm's who-we-are page also lists construction law and franchise law among Baker's areas of practice. The firm describes itself as favoring negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or a general counsel role where that can resolve a client's problem, while still taking a matter to court when that's what the case calls for.
