Yes. Can Sussman Law help me refinance my mortgage or add someone to title?

Yes. The firm handles mortgage refinancing, including accessing equity, consolidating debt, or arranging a private loan, and title transfers such as adding or changing legal ownership or transferring a property between spouses or from a parent to a child.

Does Sussman Law offer notary and commissioner of oaths services?

Yes. The firm provides notary public and commissioner services, including witnessing signatures, commissioning affidavits and statutory declarations, and preparing certified true copies of documents and identification, with same day appointments available on request.

Can Sussman Law prepare my will and powers of attorney?

Yes. The firm's estate planning work includes drafting wills and preparing both a continuing power of attorney for property and a power of attorney for personal care, the two main powers of attorney used in Ontario.

Where is Sussman Law located, and do I have to come into the office to sign documents?

The firm's office is at 240 Duncan Mill Road in Toronto, with a second, by appointment office near Peterborough in the Kawarthas. Clients across Ontario can also sign documents remotely, by video conference or through an in home visit, instead of attending in person.

How long has Joseph Sussman been practising law?

Sussman earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa in 2012 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2013, after articling with in house legal counsel at a Greater Toronto Area municipality.
