Song Criminal Defence is a solo criminal defence practice run by Elliot Song from an office on Yonge Street in Toronto's North York Centre. It handles criminal code, CDSA, quasi-criminal, and Highway Traffic Act matters, including impaired driving, assault, sexual assault, fraud, drug possession and trafficking, and bail hearings, and it accepts Legal Aid. Song holds a B.Sc. in psychology and a B.A. in sociology from the University of Victoria, a M.A. in public policy and administration from Ryerson University, and a J.D. from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, completed with exchange terms at the University of Toronto and the University of Oxford.

Before taking on criminal defence work, Song worked at an Elder Law Clinic focused on wills and estates, held guardian ad litem appointments through the Ingham County Probate Court, and served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Rosemarie Aquilina at Michigan's 30th Circuit Court. Since 2018, Song has served as an advisory lawyer to the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Toronto and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ottawa, and since 2022 to the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Toronto. Clients are drawn from across the western Greater Toronto Area, including Brampton, Mississauga, Milton, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, and Guelph, as well as the Niagara region, in addition to Toronto.
