Snowden Law LLP is a coverage counsel firm based in Toronto's financial district, on Adelaide Street West. The firm restricts its practice to coverage counsel services for the insurance and risk management community, covering commercial general liability, umbrella and excess liability, directors and officers, errors and omissions, commercial property and statutory workers' compensation matters, and related reinsurance programs. Its lawyers write coverage opinions, review and draft policy wording, and advise on reservation of rights letters and non-waiver agreements, aiming to keep clients out of court when possible while representing them at arbitration, at trial and on appeal when a dispute can't be resolved that way.

Partner Marcus B. Snowden, admitted to the bar in both Ontario and Manitoba, is the inaugural chair of the Canadian Defence Lawyers association's Insurance Coverage Law committee and a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel and the American College of Coverage Counsel. Snowden and senior counsel Mark G. Lichty co-authored the Annotated Commercial General Liability Policy, a Canadian insurance law text first published in 1997 and updated annually.
