Loon Law is a small Ontario law firm based in Scarborough, with a second office in Markham for scheduled meetings. It's led by Nisar Patel, a Barrister, Solicitor and Notary Public, who handles construction law, real estate, municipal law, and immigration law, along with civil litigation, criminal defence, and professional misconduct defence for architects, consultants, and other construction industry professionals.

The firm's construction and professional misconduct work grows out of Patel's earlier career. According to a Canadian Muslim Lawyers Association directory listing, Patel spent more than 20 years in the consulting and construction industry as an engineer before being called to the bar, working with standard form agreements from groups like the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies (ACEC), Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), and the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA), along with CCDC contracts and the Construction Act's adjudication process. That background carries into the firm's construction lien, delay claim, and contract dispute work.
