Before starting the firm, Sander practised at a small Toronto intellectual property firm and at an international full service law firm, and worked as a patent examiner with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office. Sander holds a BASc in Computer Engineering and Management from the University of Ottawa and a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School, and completed Osgoode's International Intellectual Property Program at the University of Oxford.
The firm handles patents, trademarks, industrial designs, and copyright for individuals, creators, and businesses, including searches, application drafting and prosecution, licensing and assignment work, and enforcement letters.
