Richard Odeleye Law Firm is a solo general practice in Toronto, run by Richard Odeleye, a barrister, solicitor, and notary public. Odeleye's legal career started in Nigeria, with a call to the bar there in 1989 and a role as a staff lawyer and police law instructor at the Bendel State Police command's criminal investigation department. From there Odeleye moved into private practice at Nigerian firms, including the office of a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and CN Okafor and Co, eventually becoming deputy head of the litigation department at the latter and appearing before Nigerian courts up to the Supreme Court.

Odeleye earned an LL.B. (Honours) from the University of Ibadan in 1988 and was admitted to the Law Society of Ontario in 2004, after completing a Certificate of Qualification through Canada's National Committee on Accreditation. Since then the firm has practiced immigration and refugee law, criminal defence, civil litigation, and family law, appearing before the Immigration and Refugee Board, the Federal Court, the Superior Court, and the Court of Appeal for Ontario. Its immigration work covers family sponsorship, work and study permits, and refugee claims, and the firm says it has represented hundreds of refugee claimants over the years.
