Reiss Law Professional Corporation is a business law firm based in Toronto's west end. Brian Reiss founded the firm in 2011, after almost 20 years of experience as a business lawyer. Reiss started out on Bay Street, working first at a large national firm and then at a mid sized full service firm, and took part in several billion dollar public transactions as part of a larger team. A move to a regional firm in Mississauga followed, where Reiss practised for 13 years, starting as an associate and becoming a partner for the final nine years, before founding Reiss Law to work more directly with small and mid sized privately owned businesses.

The firm advises those businesses and their owners through every stage, from startup to eventual sale. Reiss Law incorporates new companies, registers partnerships, and drafts shareholder agreements, minute books, and franchise documents. For established businesses it negotiates customer, supplier, and distribution agreements, and helps arrange financing, corporate reorganizations, and employee stock option plans. Mergers and acquisitions are a particular focus: the firm guides business owners through due diligence, letters of intent, and purchase agreements when buying or selling a company, and can introduce clients to investment bankers and business valuators. The firm also drafts employment and confidentiality agreements for business clients, and advises on privacy law compliance under PIPEDA, including drafting privacy policies and training staff.
