About Rapos Law

Rapos Law is a small law firm in Scarborough, part of Toronto, led by principal C. Jamie Rapos. The practice traces back to 1998, when Rapos, having just finished articling, joined with Peter Petropoulos, a lawyer who had once represented Rapos's great-grandfather, to open Petropoulos & Rapos. What began as a general practice narrowed over the years into a focus on estates and real estate law, and after Petropoulos retired, the firm expanded its support team and added paralegal services, continuing today as Rapos Law.

C. Jamie Rapos holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Michigan State University, along with a Canadian National Accreditation Qualification completed through the University of Ottawa. The firm handles estate planning, including wills and powers of attorney, estate administration and probate, and estate litigation, alongside corporate law for small and medium sized businesses and residential and commercial real estate transactions. A paralegal on staff, Agatha Small, takes on Small Claims Court matters for claims of $25,000 or less, provincial offences such as traffic tickets, Landlord and Tenant Board disputes, and a range of other tribunal work, giving clients a lower cost option for matters that don't call for a lawyer. Rapos Law offers a complimentary initial consultation.
