Randall Law is a solo employment law practice in downtown Toronto, founded by Chris Randall. The firm doesn't work only one side of the employment relationship: it represents both employees and employers. Randall set up the practice after working at a Toronto employment and litigation firm, was called to the Ontario bar in 2019, and holds a B.A. in political science from Bishop's University and a J.D. from the University of Western Ontario. The office is at First Canadian Place, 100 King Street West, in the city's Financial District.
For employees, that means contract review and negotiation, wrongful and constructive dismissal, and discrimination and harassment claims under the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Occupational Health and Safety Act. For employers, it's employment agreements and workplace policies, employment standards compliance advice, benefit and pension plan work, and restrictive covenants, plus support on transactions that carry employment liabilities. Randall regularly appears before administrative boards, tribunals, and Ontario courts, including a 2023 Court of Appeal case on severance calculations.
Wheelchair accessibleThe office is inside First Canadian Place, at the corner of King and Bay Streets in Toronto's Financial District. Completed in 1975, the tower held the title of Canada's tallest building from 1975 until June 2025, and it still serves as the global executive office of the Bank of Montreal. That puts Randall Law in the middle of Toronto's core business district, among the banks, brokerages, and professional services firms whose workplaces generate much of the employment law work the firm handles.
