About Sat Law

Sat Law is the practice of Madhusha Satpavanandanayagam, a lawyer licensed by the Law Society of Ontario. The firm works out of an office on Consumers Road in North York and takes on clients from across the Greater Toronto Area. Its focus is family law and wills and estates, and it operates in both English and Tamil, giving Tamil speaking families direct access to legal help in their own language for matters that can already be stressful enough.

On the family law side, the practice covers divorce and separation, child custody and access, spousal support, and property division, along with domestic contracts such as marriage contracts, cohabitation agreements, and separation agreements. Its wills and estates work spans will preparation, powers of attorney, trust arrangements, estate administration, and probate assistance. According to the firm's own description of its approach, it tries to resolve family disputes outside of court where that's realistic, while still being ready to litigate when a case calls for it.
