Edson Legal is a personal injury and insurance law firm based in North York, founded in 1982 by Barry Edson. Barry Edson was called to the Ontario bar that same year and has practiced personal injury and disability law for more than three decades, appearing before the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Divisional Court of Ontario, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario. The firm's site credits its founder with setting a precedent in Cugliari v. White (1998), a motor vehicle injury case decided at the Ontario Court of Appeal.

The firm concentrates on motor vehicle and motorcycle accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, defective products, fatal accidents, and disputes over long-term disability, life insurance, and critical illness claims. It also takes on cases involving police misconduct, wrongful arrest, and false imprisonment, areas that come up less often at a personal injury firm. Edson Legal works on a contingency basis, so clients don't pay unless a claim is resolved in their favor. In house, the team can serve clients in Farsi, Korean, and Vietnamese, and brings in interpreters for other languages.
