About Axia Law Group

Axia Law Group is a small litigation firm based in North York, at 5700 Yonge Street. Founder and principal lawyer Kelvin Park holds a B.Com from the University of Toronto's Rotman Commerce program and a JD from Southwestern Law School (California, USA), and is licensed to practice law in both Ontario and California. Park worked in public relations at Edelman before moving into law and speaks English and Korean. The firm's name comes from the Greek word for value or merit, and its stated approach is to keep advice clear and skip unnecessary complexity. Axia Law Group takes on civil litigation, employment disputes, family law matters, small claims, and landlord and tenant disputes.

For real estate transactions, wills and estate planning, and business incorporations, the firm works in association with Anna Mikhmel of Amik Law P.C., principal of the firm and holder of an LLB and an LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School. Mikhmel started out as a law clerk before being called to the Ontario bar and practices in English and Russian. Axia Law Group offers a free 30 minute initial consultation and keeps Saturday appointment hours alongside its regular Monday to Friday schedule.
